Nature is calling, let's go and connect
Wild Ireland Walks offers a variety of guided hikes and nature experiences led by a qualified mountain leader. Discover the rugged mountains, coastal trails and natural landscapes of Northern Ireland through our hiking, nature, and citizen science activities. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just want a leisurely stroll, you're a nature enthusiast or just enjoy the outdoors, these walks cater for all skill levels with guidance in English and German. Find your pace, and leave the world behind. Hikes can include navigation, camp craft, and species identification.
Wild Ireland Walks began as just a hike in the hills but the hills gave so much more. I want to share this with anyone who fancies a bit of nature exploration.
It's about casual strolls, learning a thing or two about our nature, and maybe even picking up a bit of litter along the way. It’s a laid-back way to meet others who enjoy our outdoor spaces. It can be for individuals, families, groups and charity walks.
So if you want a chance to improve navigation, try some camp craft or just go for a gentle wander to take in scenery and spot some wildlife, then Wild Ireland Walks is your go-to.
Wild Ireland Walks aims to give everyone the chance to connect with nature and get immersed in the wonder of the hills.
Walks are enjoyable and educational with easy-to-grasp citizen science projects, and can include family-friendly activities like scavenger hunts or crafting bird feeders and nature themed team games and puzzles.
We are committed to promoting responsible hiking practises, fostering a sense of care for nature and supporting Leave No Trace Principles.

To gain independence and confidence in the hills, I can tailor a hike to teach navigation and some basic skills to stay safe. These can include night navigation.
I organise nature walks and activities for schools and events. From citizen science monitoring to fun, crafty activities to park cleanups, these events are designed to bring the community together to connect with each other and our surroundings.
More than just a holiday
Another Emerald Isle
